NA LCS mired in parity after Week 5 matches
It has been an unprecedented first five weeks of the 2018 North American League of Legends Championship Summer Split. After Week 5 play, there are four teams tied for first place and nine of the league's ten teams are within two games of top spot.
For the first time in LCS history — it looks like almost anyone could take down the split.

A prime example of this is this past weekend's matches. Cloud9, who have been struggling so far this split, upset reigning champs in Team Liquid and OpTic Gaming beat Team SoloMid in convincing fashion to continue to prove they're the real deal.

Epic Games signed a deal with Spirit Halloween and Spencer's Monday that will allow the retailers to sell official Fortnite merchandise.
So far we know there'll be a light-up Boogie Bomb that plays music, a pickax, some full costumes and back bling.
Four new teams headed to London after Asia and EU FACEIT Major qualifiers
OpTic Gaming, Ninjas in Pyjamas, TyLoo and Renegades will all be competing at the FACEIT London Major after the Asia and EU Major qualifiers this past weekend.
OpTic and NiP were the two finalists in the EU event, earning their slots by besting ENCE eSports, who finished third.
TyLoo and Renegades were finalists in Asia, getting the better of Tainted Minds who finished third there.
The FACEIT London Major will take place from Sept. 5-23 in London, England.
