Rekkles out for Fnatic against H2K

Martin "Rekkles" Larsson is out of Fnatic's lineup versus H2K in their first Week 2 game of the EU LCS Summer Split.

The move has been made due to the volatile nature of marksmen in the current metagame. Traditional AD Carrys, that Rekkles shines on, have been significantly nerfed in recent patches and we're seeing a lot of bruiser champions in the bot-lane.

Gabriel "Bwipo" Rau stepped into the roster in the open slot. Bwipo has experience play bruisers in the top lane.

Fnatic won the game in dominating fashion, securing 27 kills to H2K's 5 and up 20K gold by the end of the game.

Thunder Gaming disqualified from TI8 SA Qualifiers

Thunder Gaming were disqualified from the South American Qualifiers for The International 2018 after Juan "Atun" Ochoa was found to be using macros.

In a Facebook post after the incident Atun admitted to be using macros — key bindings that input multiple commands at once — since the Frankfurt Major 2015.

It's also been discovered that Thunder's coach Iwo "Iwo" Bejar Kalinowski was also coaching the team while banned from Valve Dota 2 events.

With this new information, the winner's bracket final at the event will be SG e-sports and Pain Gaming.

GODSENT cease operations of Counter-Strike team

Godsent's Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster is no more.

In a Twitlonger post attributed to founders Markus "pronax" Wallsten and Tomas Oropesa Martin, it was explained that a unanimous decision was made not to move forward with the team any longer.

This news comes just more than a week after their roster was acquired by Red Reserve. The roster that previously played under the GODSENT banner was ranked 19th in the world.
