The International 8 invite slots announced

The eight invited teams for The International 8 were solidified on Saturday.

These eight teams have received invites to The International in Vancouver, Canada, based on their Dota Pro Circuit points from this season:

  • Virtus.pro
  • Team Liquid
  • PSG.LGD
  • Team Secret
  • Mineski
  • Vici Gaming
  • Newbee
  • VGJ.Thunder
Between now and Aug. 15 when the event starts the remaining 10 slots will be decided by various qualifying events.

HEN1 and LUCAS1 join Luminosity

Henrique "HEN1" Teles and Lucas "LUCAS1" Teles have signed on with Luminosity Gaming's Counter Strike: Global Offensive lineup.

With the announcement they let go of Gustavo "SHOOWTiME" Goncalves and Vinicios "PKL" Coelho to make room for their new players.

"We are grateful to Luminosity for this opportunity. The LG jersey carries a big history in CS:GO," said LUCAS1 and HEN1, in a press release. "We have had some time to reflect on the past and realize some of our mistakes. We've grown as people outside the game and it will help us as teammates in the future. We are hungry as ever."

Dignitas win Rocket League World Championship

Team Dignitas are the Rocket League Season 5 World Champions.

Dig defeated NRG Esports in the finals to take home the crown.

NRG entered the finals undefeated, and had beat Dignitas earlier in the event. But, Dig got their revenge when it mattered most.
